I don’t need wax, my car’s brand new!

admin

This is a constant refrain I hear from Yelp! customers almost exclusively when I suggest our Mini Detail for their vehicle.  I get it, you want drive thru car wash pricing but you want a much better job and the convenience of not having to go sit at the car wash for an hour or more.  But to suggest your vehicle doesn’t need wax because it’s “brand new” is just plain wrong.  The manufacturer does not apply wax to your vehicle before it leaves the plant.  And whatever El Cheapo product the dealership may have applied to your vehicle when you purchased it blew off with the first stiff wind.

When your car is new, that is the best time to start taking car of it properly.  Don’t wait until your car is two years old before you decide that now is the time when you may want to put wax on it.  I can’t tell you how many “new” vehicles I take care of that are less than a year old and already starting to show signs of oxidation and clear coat etching because they were left unprotected.

With many new vehicles priced in the $50-100k range, even having your vehicle waxed on a monthly basis is a small price to pay to ensure that your vehicle is well maintained and protected from the harsh Inland Empire environment.

Yelp! What’s the deal?
